But not for a divorce.

I’ll be sharing the stage with Nevada divorce ranch novelist Peggy Wynne Borgman at the Nevada Historical Society Writers’ Wednesday in Reno on May 8, 5-6:30 p.m.

When Peggy picked up a copy of the first edition of The Divorce Seekers in a Carson City book shop, she was so taken with the “frothy” divorce ranch era, it inspired her to write The Better Half, a novel set on a divorce ranch in the 1950s. She asked me to vet her manuscript for historical accuracy and, a few years later, I asked her to write “Once Upon a Time in Reno”, the Introduction in the 2023 paperback edition of The Divorce Seekers.

Peggy and I will be signing books… and divulge “What Was Really Going On At Those Nevada Divorce Ranches – Fact and Fiction”. For details, Nevada Historical Society Writers’ Wednesday.
