Dear Bill,

I read your book, Operation Crossroads – Lest We Forget! stem to stern the same day it arrived. It sure brought back memories and some I didn’t know about, like the beer shack and the warm beer.

I have a grandson who did a lot of homework on the USS Fall River. He even made a nice plaque for me with pictures of the ship and the atomic bomb tests. I’d appreciate if you would send him a signed copy of your book and I’m enclosing a check to cover it.

My wife and I would love to invite you and Sandra to visit us. We have a small guest cottage stocked with anything you might need.

  1. Ah, again! How fabulous the acknowledgement … adding such a specialness & confirmation of your efforts, Bill & Sandra. And I’m sure you would hear from so many more of your ‘mates’ if still alive. You deserve to feel very proud of yourselves! 🤗 I am!
